Attorney John Kitchen comes to Keene on Tuesday, September 18 for a free workshop on Special Needs Future Planning. This evening workshop will be held at Cheshire Medical Center.

* Do you have a vision of how your loved one will live when you are no longer here?

* Have you formally identified a guardian, conservator, or trustee for your loved one?

* Do you have a Special Needs Trust set up to preserve government benefits such as social security and/or Medicaid benefits?

* Have you made provisions to fund your loved one’s trust with life insurance or other assets?

* Have you coordinated your Special Needs planning with other relatives?

* Are you confident you have done everything possible to protect your loved one’s financial future?

If you answered “no” to any of these questions or are simply unsure, this workshop will provide you with important information relative to Special Needs Trusts, NH ABLE Accounts, Guardianship, and how to prepare a Special Needs Future Plan. Future planning can provide the vitally important support structure that is necessary to protect your family member in your absence.

This workshop is sponsored by Family-Centered Early Supports & Services (FC-ESS) at MDS and the Center for Population Health at Cheshire Medical Center. It is intended for parents, family members, and guardians of adults and children with disabilities. The workshop runs from 6-8:30 p.m. in CMC’s North Conference Rooms 1 & 2.

Free. Registration required. Click here to register online or call 603-354-5460.
