Speech Pathologist
Speech and Language Pathologist needed to evaluate and treat children with language, speech, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency problems. Develop and implement IFSP. Successful candidates must possess a Master's Degree in the field of Speech Pathology and hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech/Hearing Association with three years experience working with young children. Must be licensed to practice in NH.

Self Directed Services Coordinator
Responsibilities include planning with individuals and their family/representative to identify needed services to support and design quality, meaningful and cost effective services. Candidates would facilitate and coordinate team meetings and annual service agreements; would be responsible for coordinating, monitoring and reviewing quality of services provided through visits and review of documentation; educate individuals and their families/representatives regarding community options, Medicaid, Social Security, etc.; and support families to recruit and supervise family-managed employees, providing orientation, and consultations to individuals/families/representatives as needed.

Successful candidates should be able to advocate, work with teams, network with the community, facilitate meetings, assist with negotiation of budgets and problem solve. Candidates should be organized, have the ability to multitask, and possess strong conflict management, computer and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in human services. Must have experience with individuals with disabilities. Driving and background check required. ISO Program Manager
MDS has a full-time position open for a Program Manager in the Individual Service Options (ISO) department. Position is responsible for the day to day oversight and support of a caseload of up to 5 - 7 individuals and their staff. Responsibilities include:

Training and modeling for staff
On-call hours, 7 - 8 days per month with another Program Manager
Fill-in for Direct Support hours as needed
Ensuring documentation is up to date
Supervision and performance evaluations of staff
Budget oversight

Minimum qualifications include time management skills, valid driver’s license, clear criminal record, good communication and organizational skills and prior supervisory experience.

Home Care Provider
Home Care Providers are needed to share his/her home with a person who happens to have a disability. Home Providers must be in good health and willing to include someone as a part of their family and not be treated just as a boarder. Qualities such as patience, common sense and genuine acceptance of the person with the disability are highly valued. Location within Keene or surrounding towns preferred.

Provider needed for a young woman who is active in the community and. Woman or couple without children. Dogs are fine, not cats. She enjoys shopping, yard-sales, and movies. She goes out to lunch twice a week.

Two weekends off per month!!

Job Coach/Vocational Trainers
Job Coaches/Vocational Trainers needed to support individuals with disabilities at their jobs and learning job skills in the greater Keene and Peterborough area. Are you creative? Innovative? Like to teach? This could be the position for you. Duties involve assisting individuals with learning tasks, problem solving, organizing workflow and mentoring. Positions are part time, days, Monday-Friday, between 15-25 hours a week. Reliable transportation is a requirement.

Floating Direct Support Professional (DSP)
MDS has a unique opportunity for a Floating Direct Support Professional (DSP). The Floater will be expected to work in multiple programs and need to be flexible to work any shift including days, nights, weekends and overnights. Must be able to work with all levels of disabilities as well as individuals with behaviors. Schedule is given two weeks in advance.

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are responsible for supporting people, with a disability, in their communities to lead fully included lives. They support the strengths, gifts and potential of people with disabilities and aid in the removal of barriers preventing a person with a disability to reach their goals. Position may require job support; teaching daily living skills, household management and supporting the person in creating and developing friendships and other relationships.

Minimum qualifications include a sound ethical foundation, dedication, creativity, commitment to building a relationship, sense of humor and ability to work in a team environment.

Position is full time and includes a generous benefit package. Shift differential paid for any hours worked from Friday at 8 p.m. to Sunday at 8 p.m.!

Roommates must possess a sense of humor and a willingness to mutually share life experiences. No children. Schedule is fairly flexible and can cater to the hours wanted.
