Interested in receiving training for a job? Applications are now being taken for Project SEARCH, a job training program for individuals receiving servcies from MDS and Voc Rehab who are between 20 and 36 years of age, have Medicaid and can be open for the DD Waiver, and want to learn job skills through unpaid internships at CMC/DH in Keene. The skills learned at Project SEARCH have led to jobs in food services, retail, administrative support, health care, recycling and manufacturing.

Applications for the next session (September 2018 - June 2019) are now due by March 14, 2018. Applicants must be receiving Service Coordination from Monadnock Developmental Services, and participants are chosen upon review of completed application packet, reference checks and and interview with the Selection Committee.

Those eligible and interested should complete the Project SEARCH application and also provide the following documentation:

* Current Individual Education Plan (IEP) including Transition Goals (if under 21) or

* Individual Service Agreement (ISA) if 21 and over

* Resume

* Photo

* Three (3) letters of reference on the Project SEARCH reference form, one from a family member/primary supporter, two from a combination of either school personnel, neighbor, friend, employer or coworker. Click here to download PS Reference form.

* Copies of any vocational assessments or related assessments that provide information on strengths and challenges

Please note that the information provided as part of the application process will be reviewed by staff from Monadnock Developmental Services (MDS), New Hampshire Vocational Rehabilitation and Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth Hitchcock.
