Do you have questions about dating and relationships? Elevatus Training presents "Healthy Relationships: Being Smart and Safe When You Date", an eight-week workshop series for individuals 18 and over who are served by MDS. These professionally led sessions happen Mondays, from 10 to 11:30 at the Conference Room at Railroad Square, 49 Community Way in Keene (map).

Topics covered will include:

  • How do I make friends?
  • What do I need to know about my body?
  • How do I find a partner or boy/girlfriend?
  • How do I stay safe online?
  • How do I protect myself?


Katherine McLaughlin, co-leader, has been a sexuality educator and trainer for over 25 years. She works specifically with people with developmental disabilities. She has written a curriculum on this topic, and is the founder of Elevatus Training.

Risa Keene is a speech/language therapist who works at the MDS Birth to Three early intervention program. She has taught sexuality education to young adults who are deaf, and also with children and young adults with a variety of communication needs.
