JEdwardsPosterPFMSPeterborough Folk Music will present a benefit concert with Jonathan Edwards to help raise awareness and funds for Monadnock Developmental Services (MDS). The concert is set for Saturday, June 8 at the Alumni Recital Hall at Redfern Arts Center, on the Keene State College campus. MDS is pleased to collaborate with PFMS for this special event, which is sponsored by People’s United Bank.

Jonathan Edwards is an accomplished musician who has been a favorite singer/songwriter in New England since the 1970s. For more than four decades, Jonathan has delivered songs of passion, insight, and humor, all rendered in a pure and powerful tenor voice which, like fine wine, has only grown sweeter with age. His work includes “Sunshine” “Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboy” “Shanty” and “Stop and Start It All Again”. Click here to sample Jonathan Edwards songs on YouTube.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit individuals and families served by MDS, providing funds for the critical unmet needs of those with developmental and related disabilities in our region.

Tickets are $30 in advance online at pfmsconcerts.org or at Toadstool Bookshops, or $35 at door (cash or check only), with open seating. Doors open at 7, and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
