Who is the Family Council?
We are family members and individuals whose mission is to advocate for those with disabilities who live in the greater Monadnock region.

What do we do?
The Family Council partners with MDS service coordinators to enhance and amplify their family support services using funding from the State of New Hampshire. We act as advisors to MDS and its Board of Directors to create strong family support programs. With your help, we assess current Monadnock region family needs.

How can we help?
We know these are difficult times for everyone and we want you to know we are here for you. To that end, we have established a Covid-19 response fund. As you know, there has been tremendous response from all of our communities, the state, and our federal government.

Our fund is intended to fill gaps that are not otherwise met. If you have a need because of the Covid-19 pandemic, please contact your service coordinator to discuss it. Your service coordinator will help you to identify helpful community resources. If your request meets criteria established by the Family Council and cannot be met through other community resources, your service coordinator will explore possible funding through the Monadnock Family Council.
