Highlights of the Clipboard Summer 2020 online issue include:

Continuing challenges during the coronavirus pandemic include the announcement of the closing of Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center's school and residential programs, targeted for November 1.

Two key bills covering Medicaid dental coverage and ESS funding have passed both House and Senate and are now in the hands of Governor Sununu for signature. We're keeping an eye on Concord.

Best practices and basic precautions for MDS staff and families are outlined, reflecting guidance from CDC, NH Public Health, the Governor, and local healthcare and community leaders. Remember every action and interaction you take can impact the health of someone.

The Family Council has established a COVID-19 response fund. This fund is intended to fill gaps that are not otherwise met. Requests that
meet criteria established by the Family Council and cannot be met through other community resources will be considered. Families and individuals should speak with their Service Coordinator for details.

Project SEARCH went virtual with its graduation this year. This is the 10th graduation class, with seven interns completing their work at CMC-Dartmouth Hitchcock in Keene and online. Includes pictures of graduates, thanks to Molly McNeil and Jessica Devine.

The Medicaid Open Enrollment period is coming up in August 2020. Because of the current environment, the time frame for Medicaid Care Management Open Enrollment has been changed and will be held August 1 - August 31, 2020 with a "go-live" date of September 1, 2020. Member notices and details will be available in coming weeks.
