ddandbljun08Bill Lynch and Dennis DiTullio, founders of the MDS 600 Club and long-time MDS volunteers and donors, were among seven finalists for the Make A Difference Donor Award, given each year by the New Hampshire Council on Fundraising (CONFR). According to Executive Director Pamela McDonald, “The award honors individuals whose contributions of time, talent and treasure have made a transformative difference to their organization.”

This year’s winner was Carl Jacobs of Peterborough, who was recognized for his exceptional dedication and commitment to the Mayhew Program, which helps at-risk NH boys. The Council on Fundraising recognized Jacobs, as well as Lynch, DiTullio and the other nominees, at their recent conference (May 13, 2010) at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord. Previous honorees from the Monadnock region include John and Jean Hoffman of Sullivan.

Congratulations to the hard-working donors and volunteers in our region who truly do make a difference in the lives of so many.
