Hollie Lynch has received the President’s Volunteer Service Award, in recognition of  her helping to address the most pressing needs in our community and our country. Hollie was profiled in 2009 in the Keene Sentinel piece "Disability doesn’t slow down this Keene woman."

In a letter to Hollie from President Barack Obama, he states: “While government can open more opportunities for us to serve our communities, it is up to each of us to seize those opportunities. Thank you for your devotion to service and for doing all you can to shape a better tomorrow for our great Nation.” Hollie volunteers at Cedarcrest, the Castle Center and the Community Kitchen.
